Bio: I graduated from Covenant Christian in 2020. Throughout my years in high school, I felt called to go into teaching. I pursued a teaching degree at Cornerstone University, and I graduated in 2024 with a major in Elementary Education and minors in Reading and Language Arts. In the spring of 2024, I accepted my first teaching position at Heritage. Heritage is a new school for me! I am excited to grow in my relationships with staff members, families, and my students! Some hobbies I enjoy outside of school are exercising, arranging flowers, baking, and reading a good book! I am so thankful the Lord has called me into the honorable position of being a Christian School Teacher.

Bio:
My life hasn’t always followed a traditional path. After adopting our children internationally and watching them grow and learn, the Lord led me to pursue a teaching career. Over the past couple of years I worked on obtaining an elementary education degree online through Western Governors University (2023).
I married Justin Koole back in 1999 and have been blessed with four children. We attend Zion PRC and as a family, we enjoy boating, traveling, and Michigan football.

Jodee VanOverloop – Second Grade

Bio: After nearly twenty years, I returned to Grand Valley State University to finish my Bachelor’s degree. In 2021, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. I then received my teacher certification through the Graduate Teacher Certification (GTC) program at GVSU in May of 2022.
