Bio: I am originally from Hull, a small town in the NW corner of Iowa. I graduated from Dordt College in May 2015 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education.
I go to Byron Center PRC and enjoy it very much! I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, traveling (when I can), and teaching 1st grade (of course)!!
Bio: In 2000 I graduated from Dordt College with a degree in Elementary Education. I then taught in a multi grade classroom setting for two years at Faith Christian School in Randolph, Wi. After moving to Michigan in 2002 I taught first grade at Adams Christian School for two and a half years until we had our first child. My husband Brandon and I were blessed with four children. All our children have either graduated from or are currently attending Heritage Christian School! Presently I am teaching first grade.
I grew up in the Chicago land area but enjoy the less busy atmosphere and beautiful beaches of Michigan. In my spare time I enjoy walking, baking, cleaning, and reading. Our family attends Hudsonville Protestant Reformed Church.

Bio: I have been blessed to be part of Heritage Christian School since the doors were first opened in 1985. During the years I was raising our children, I taught kindergarten part time. Following kindergarten, I was Director of the Discovery Center for ten years where I was involved in special education, resource room and response to intervention screenings. Presently I am back in the general education classroom, teaching first grade.
My husband, Mike, and I have five children, three sons, a daughter-in-law and a daughter. We are charter members of Trinity Protestant Reformed Church. I enjoy traveling, crafts and reading in my spare time.
